Review: Marvel Captain America: Civil War Blaster Reveal Shield

Jacob is a massive NERF Gun fan, he saves his pocket money to buy all the latest ones, and with, well over 30 different NERF toys of all shapes and sizes he has a pretty awesome collection! He is also a massive Marvel fan, Hawkeye and Captain America being his two favourite characters, so when we were offered to review the Civil War Blaster Reveal Shield he was super excited. Although I should note that this is not a NERF gun, however, it is designed to shoot the NERF bullets. 

Captain America is a super-soldier, fighting for justice who is known for his cool American flag motif costume and is his Red, Blue, and Silver indestructible shield that he uses in battle.

It is very easy to use, just one push of the star button reveals a hidden blaster, where you can launch 2 Nerf bullets at the target and taking down the baddies.

As you expect with Hasbro toys, it is well-made, sturdy and has survived some fairly rough play including being dropped down the stairs. With Jacob being a big NERF fan, we already have hundreds of NERF bullets (literally!), and 2 are included with the shield, which really isn't enough, you would definitely need more - they get lost so easily. The Civil War Blaster Reveal Shield isn't as powerful as a NERF gun, but pretty cool!

The Blaster Shield is great fun for the kids to role-play games and battles. This is a dual-function replica of Captain America's iconic shield, a shield, and a gun, making it much more fun to play with.  Jacob has spent hours running around battling the baddies, shooting targets etc. just like Captain America (although Captain America doesn't shoot in the comics, this added addition to the Civil War Shield is great fun).

It is super cool and simple to use, and tons of fun!
